Include a copy of original patient requisition when sending sample. Send whole blood on wet ice, but cannot be frozen. Most recent CBC report must accompany shipment.
Specimen must be received at HSC Hematology, MS5 within 72 hours of collection, and not later than 11:00 a.m. on Fridays. After hours testing requires Hematopathologist approval. |
