Test Indications: This test is used for evaluating children with signs and symptoms of methylmalonic acidemia.
This test is also used for evaluating individuals with signs and symptoms associated with cobalamin deficiency (vitamin B12). Approval Is not required for patients <19 years. For adults (≥19y) testing is restricted without approval to following specialties: hematology, oncology, neurology, and genetics. All other requests require test approval.
