This procedure is used to evaluate anterior pituitary function in the presence of an adenoma, or following a traumatic insult to the pituitary. It may also be used to rule out elevation of prolactin due to stress. This procedure is performed in the Endocrinology & Metabolism Clinical Investigation Unit.
