Test Indications: This test is for detection of acute or very recent arsenic exposure as well as monitoring the effectiveness of therapy in case of acute arsenic toxicity. Blood concentrations of arsenic are elevated for a short time after exposure, after which arsenic rapidly disappears into tissues because of its affinity for tissue proteins.
