Pediatric Blood: 1.0 mL

Pediatric Blood: 250 μL (microcontainer).

Full Tube Collection (to fill line) recommended. 

When venipuncture is unsuitable, collect capillary blood in an EDTA microtainer. 

Clotted sample will be rejected.

This test code is used for cord blood/fetal blood test requests where the sample arrives with the mothers demographics ("fetus of"). This includes requests for any CBC constituent tests (HGB, HCT, PLT, etc.) in this patient population.
