Test performed at St. Boniface Hospital Immunology Lab by  multiplex method.  It detects antibodies to a cellular protein with molecular weight of approx 52 KD (Ro52).

Negative = 0 - 0.9 AI

A negative result does not necessarily exclude autoimmune disease.  Positive results should not be interpreted in isiolation and must be correlated with relevant clinical findings.
