Test Indications: First-order test for evaluation of a suspected acute porphyria: acute intermittent porphyria, hereditary coproporphyria, and variegate porphyria.
  
Method: Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) by the Metabolic Lab (HSC). This is a laboratory developed test.
