Test Indications: Cystine is a part of our quantitative amino acid profiles done by UPLC/MS-MS and available in different specimen type:
Plasma: code AAQP Urine: code AAQU CSF: code AAQC Cystine can also be measured in WBC to monitor patient with cystinosis. The sample is prepared in the Metabolic Lab but the analysis is a send out.
