Pediatric Whole Blood: 4.0 mL
Sample must be received in the lab within 24 hours of being drawn. Test must be approved by Hematopathologist. prior to specimen collection. |

Samples should be sent at room temperature. Package securely to avoid breakage and extreme weather conditions. Samples must be received in the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Laboratory within 24 hours of being drawn. CBC and DIFF (same day) results MUST accompany sample. Sample should be shipped PRIORITY OVERNIGHT. Please call the laboratory with the name of the courier and the tracking number of the package (1-800-653-5516).
