Clinical Information:
This procedure is used for assessment of gonadotropin reserve.  It is used in the evaluation of the pituitary-gonadal axis when a patient has low/normal sex hormone levels in the presence of low/normal basal gonadotropin (FSH, LH) levels.  This procedure is performed in the Endocrinology & Metabolism Clinical Investigation Unit.
