Clinical Information:
Specimen stability:  <24 hour optimum; 24-48 hours sub-optimal.  Samples analyzed between 24 and 48 hours post collection will have absolute counts which, on average, are 15% lower.
Recommended use:  Monitoring of CD4 and other T-Lymphocyte subsets related to follow up of acquired immunodeficiency.

Blood: 2.0 mL

Full draw preferred.  Date and time of draw is required.  Keep specimens at room temperature (18-26°C).
For serial monitoring, we recommend that specimen draws be performed at the same time of day due to circadian variation.

Samples must be received by 4:00 p.m. except Fridays and days preceding a 3 day long week-end (extended to 5:00 p.m. cutoff)
