Flow Cytometric analysis of FNA and body fluid specimens will be performed if requested by a pathologist or hematopathologist after cytologic assessment.
Please notify HSC Flow Cytometry Laboratory (787-1986) of fluids immunophenotyping specimen submissions. Differential diagnosis or relevant clinical information is required. FLUIDS: Submit the following with the Fluids specimen: Stained cytospin slide or cytology slide if available. Please label the slides with name, collection data and indicate number of slides submitted on the requisition. Fluids should be stored refrigerated (NOT FROZEN) unless processed immediately. |
