Plasma: 6.0 mL
Pediatric Plasma: 3.0 mL
Na Citrate Tubes: Centrifuge according to lab's current process for coagulation sample. Remove plasma with transfer pipette. Place in 6 plastic aliquot tubes and re-centrifuge, capped. Aliquot into 6 plastic tubes, cap, and indicate "spun x 2" on labels. Freeze immediately at -20°C. Transport frozen on ice. |

Test performed Monday-Friday 0745-1600, however, referred-in samples in Na Citrates tubes may be sent frozen to the HSC lab at any time, attention: Haemostasis Bench.
Note: EDTA Tubes stable for 24 hours at room temperature, or 72 hours at 2-8°C. Process CBC offline at collection site and send report. EDTA minimum is 1 mL or 250uL if an EDTA microtainer is collected..
