For HSC: CAPD (Chronic Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysate) and/or peritoneal drainage may require culture and cell counts. Send to Microbiology Lab for culture prior to Hematology Lab for cell counts.
For SBH and WL: A separate specimen must accompany the Hematology Requisition if Microbiology testing is required. |
