TRIPTORELIN STIMULATION TEST- FEMALE - (P)
Test Code:
TSTF
|
||||
Clinical Information: |
Description: The gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) stimulation test is the gold standard for diagnosing central precocious puberty (CPP). Gonadorelin (synthetic GnRH) is no longer available and triptorelin is now used as an alternative (Jan 2025).
Response is evaluated by measuring LH and FSH at 0, 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 min; estradiol is measured at 0 and 180 min.
