Send specimen to Health Sciences Centre Laboratory MS551 for referral to Alberta Children’s Hospital, Biochemical Genetics Laboratory. 
Call ACH Biochemical Genetics Lab (403-955-7379) to make arrangements prior to shipment.
Ship whole blood overnight on ice to ACH Biochemical Genetics Lab.  Pack with care to prevent breakage and freezing.
Overnight shipping for arrival on Monday-Friday.
If patient has received RBC transfusion within 2 months, write "TRANSFUSED" on the request for testing.
