Testing is performed at St. Boniface Hospital Immunology Lab using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
The ELISA test kit provides a quantitative in vitro assay for human autoantibodies of the immunoglobulin class IgG against proteinase 3 (PR3) in serum to support the diagnosis of Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's granulomatosis) |
