| Clinical Information: |
The test is performed on amniotic fluid. Testing will be ordered on a Cytogenetics Lab Requisition and the complete sample will be sent to the Cytogenetics Lab. Sample will be triaged by staff in the Cytogenetics Lab with one tube of amniotic fluid referred to the Molecular Lab for RAD testing. The remainder of the fluid will be processed by the Cytogenetics Lab as required. Final reports will be sent out in the Delphic LIS to the WRHA - Genetics and Metabolism Program.
