Pediatric Plasma: 0.5 mL
1 tube per timepoint for a total of 7 timepoints post start of infusion as per IV Busulfex Pharmacokinetics Requisition. |

Specimen is to arrive on ice. Centrifuge at 4°C. Remove and freeze plasma in a plastic tube labeled with patient name, medical record #, date and time of draw. Tape labels on and freeze. Sample must be sent on dry ice, priority overnight, same day collected. Notify Pharmacokinetics Laboratory (receiving laboratory) by phone at (206) 288-7389 or email PKLab @seattlecca.org including shipment tracking number.
