Testing is performed at St. Boniface Hospital Immunology Lab using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
The ELISA test kit provides a quantitative in vitro assay for human antibodies of the immunoglobulin class IgG against acetylcholine receptors in serum for the diagnosis of Myasthenia gravis. |
